So, this week I've not been having too much sleep as a result of my homework and whatnot. This turns out to be worse that I thought as I have read that not getting sleep is detrimental to your fitness development along with you not eating just before you sleep. I could easily amend that by starting my homework right when I get home and by eating just before I sleep. The following section is really nothing more than to act as a filler to be able to achieve the stipulation that you need around 150 words per post, which I think is kind of ridiculous to be honest. Its like explaining what a carpet is, if you can do so in only a single sentence why should you be forced to make you explanation choppy and somewhat incoherent at times to meet some demand? Well, as it stands now, I doubt I can reach that rule anyways

This week has been sort of stale, there hasn't really been very much progress in my push-ups as usual, and there were a couple days when I slacked off in going my routine. I need to do extra over the weekend to make up for it. After Otavio offered his knowledge that sit-ups were actually fairly bad for your lower back, I decided instead to do bicycle kicks and reverse push-ups. I will also look for other workouts I can do at home that won't require any equipment whatsoever. I do think that being able to go the weight room here at school is pretty nice since my options at home are quite limited. I should also change my diet to include a lot less fats and a little bit less carbs if I want to see more progress more quickly. So much for being able to eat my favorite foods.
Because of academic reasons a week was skipped. That and a day of the usual routine, I'll have to do the routine twice in a day to make up for that lost day. Things have been progressing smoothly and I am very close to reaching my sit-up goal and have already reached my squat goal. My push-up goal, as always, has been making almost nonexistent progress. I've also worked in 10 reverse push-ups and doing some bicycle kicks as well. This week I found out that sit-ups aren't really that good for your lower back at all, once this 20% project is over I plan to continue with my routine but I would have to change sit-ups for something else. Here's a video explaining how to properly do bicycle kicks. |
